Owner/Surrender
In order to expedite your request for owner surrender, please e-mail the following to the Owner/Surrender Coordinator:

  • CURRENT pictures of your Basset(s) Try for face pictures and side views 3-4 pictures would be ideal

  • Copy of spay or neuter certificate (if applicable)
  • Copy of most current vaccination record - to include DHLPP, Bordetella, and Rabies

You may e-mail the above items directly to the Owner Surrender Coordinator

Upon submitting the information above, I certify that the information above is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.  I am the owner of the basset hound listed above and I understand that if Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California, Inc. accepts my Basset Hound for placement, I give up all rights, present and future, to this Basset Hound.

I understand that this Basset Hound will be sterilized (spayed/neutered), if it has not already been done. 

I give up my Basset Hound freely and without reservation.

I agree to provide proof of vaccinations and a sterility certificate (if applicable).
